COMMON BACKGROUND COLOR(S): Brown.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Interiors of jars often polished, some

examples can be highly polished.

COMMENTS: Sherds of Convento Plainware and Casas Grandes Plainware cannot be reliably separated from each other, as well as many whole vessels, although certain forms may be diagnostic.
