TYPE: Mesa Verde Corrugated (Indented)

DATE: A.D. 1200 to 1300 (Oppelt 2002:34)

KEY DIFFERENCES: Everted or flaring rims. Indented corrugation can be a little finer than the earlier type Mancos Corrugated.

Applique

Zoned

Patterned

COMMENTS: Some vessels also have applique coils added on top of the corrugation, usually in the form of sideways S-shaped scrolls. Other varieties include Zoned Indented Corrugated, and Patterned Corrugated varieties.
