TYPE: Three Circle Neck Corrugated

DATE: A.D. 775 to 900 (Oppelt, 2008;48)

KEY DIFFERENCES: Coils usually measure less than 7mm wide and average about 2 to 4 per cm. Three Circle Neck Corrugated have finer coils than Alma Neckbanded.

COMMENTS: Early examples of jars may only have a few coils around the neck while later examples may be corrugated from the rim down to the upper shoulder.
