DATE: A.D. 1050-1300 (Oppelt, 2002;18)
BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary interior designs.
COMMON DESIGNS: Designs declined and became simple and unbalanced, often with alot of open space within the design field. Common motifs used were: parallel lines, crosshatching, dots, hatched triangles, nested chevrons, and checkerboard motifs. Sometimes the rims were "ticked".
KEY DIFFERENCES: Organic paint, usually not slipped.
