DATE: AD 1350 to 1450 (Oppelt, 2008;34)

BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary interior designs, secondary exterior designs.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Red designs on a bright white, well polished slip.  Late examples can have a crazed slip (or no slip) like that of Matsaki.


1N This bowl has a rough crazed slip like that of Matsaki indicating a temporally late example.
